Join the movement · A Belgian foundation

Pulse is thelighthouseof entrepreneurshipin Belgium.

Pulse is the only foundation in Belgium dedicated entirely to entrepreneurship. Founded in 2012 by around twenty entrepreneurial families, fully private and politically neutral. We believe entrepreneurship is a force for good, and we keep the path to it open for every profile and every ambition.

01 · Our master narrative

One conviction.
One mission.

Entrepreneurship is a force for good. Our reason to exist is easy to say and hard to do: keep the path to it open, for every profile and every ambition.

Conviction

Entrepreneurship can drive innovation, inclusion and sustainability, but only when the path is open.

Mission

We are dedicated to demolishing every obstacle on the entrepreneurial path.

How

Three levers across seven pillars that span the full entrepreneurial journey.

Values

Entrepreneurial. In collaboration. And always, we pay it forward.

02 · The community

Faces of the movement.

Behind every Pulse program is an entrepreneur, a mentor, a partner who said yes. These are some of them, and they are the reason this foundation exists. (Placeholder profiles, to be replaced with real photos and quotes from the community.)

03 · How we act

Three levers.
One shared mission.

The levers are how we act. The pillars are what we act on, spanning the full entrepreneurial journey from first spark to second chance.

01 · Lever one

We Fund.

Structural, multi-year funding plus collective acceleration for the social-profit organisations already strengthening entrepreneurship across Belgium.

  • Around 10 supported organisations
  • Funded over 3 to 6 years
  • RISE collective accelerator
02 · Lever two

We Operate.

A portfolio of in-house programs, some built in our own startup studio, designed to fill the gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

  • BEyond, scaling and internationalisation
  • Second chance, Revival and First Light
  • FDT Grant, health access
03 · Lever three

We Advocate.

We inform and advise decision-makers on what shapes entrepreneurship. Where a gap calls for more than a program, we help start a movement.

  • BE.Entrepreneur, advocacy with proof
  • Wallonsy, a collective movement
  • From pain points to real reform
Focus · Second chance

A failure should never be the end of an entrepreneurial life.

Bankruptcy is the most common chapter of entrepreneurship, and the most taboo. We are building a real one-stop shop for entrepreneurs in difficulty, from the first administrative shock to a full professional restart. Two programs, one continuous hand to hold.

Step one · When it just happened

First Light brings administrative clarity.

The moment a business ends, the administrative weight begins: letters, deadlines and procedures that nobody explains. First Light is the calm guide that turns that overwhelming pile into a short list of clear next steps, through a simple chatbot and a human relay. The message never changes: you are not alone, and there is always a next step.

Discover First Light
Step two · When you are ready to rebuild

Revival brings the restart.

Once the dust settles, Revival helps entrepreneurs who have been through bankruptcy get back on their feet. Each person gets a mentor, a coach, and a monthly group of around ten others who understand exactly what they are going through. No waiting lists, no forms, no questions about your past. You reach out when you are ready, and you leave with a plan and your footing back.

Discover Revival
From the paperwork of failure to the courage of starting again.
